The hotel building, formerly the British Far East Command Headquarters during World War II, is the result of extensive restoration of the British military structure which was built in 1926. It is a colonial-style hotel, featuring 86 individually-styled boutique suites and rooms, and is surrounded by the greenery of Fort Canning Park.
