Come to the Go2 Hostel when you are backpacking Serbia or traveling the Balkans on a budget. A cheaply priced Belgrade accommodation, it has a great location in the centre of the city, within walking distance of Prince Michael Street and the Kalemegdan fortress. On the second floor of a historic building, the Go2 Hostel is an affordable guest house that offers both individual beds in dorm-style rooms and private rooms. As a guest, you are invited to cook meals in the communal kitchen equipped with a refrigerator, hot plate, coffee maker, and dishes, then eat at the large dining table. In the living room you can go online or check your email for free at one of the computers, or relax on the sofa, watching a movie on cable or DVD or playing a game on the Sony Playstation. The young, English-speaking staff is happy to help with visitor information or with laundry service, subject to charges. The Go2 Hostel is well located in the Stari Grad (Serbian for Old Town) neighbourhood of Belgrade, near Terazije Square. It’s about 400 metres/0.25 mile from the major pedestrian shopping street called Prince Michael Street (Knez Mihailova). Around Republic Square (Trg Republike) are the National Museum and the National Theatre. To the northeast is the Bohemian area of Belgrade along cobblestone Skadarska Street. To the northwest is Kalemegdan Park, where you can visit the military fortress and a zoo called the Belgrade Good Hope Garden. The guest house is a 10 minute walk from the Belgrade central train station and central bus station. | |
