 Santa Catarina Hotel is located in the small town of Santa Cruz, on the south coast of Madeira. The beautiful local pebble beach as well as the wonderful palm-lined promenade with restaurants and bars is just 300 m away. There is a water park around 1.5 km from the hotel and is some 16 km to the island capital of Funchal. Links to the public transport network are to be found directly in front of the hotel and it is around 5 minutes drive to Funchal-Madeira airport.
All of the rooms are light and cosy and each feature either 1 double bed or 2 single beds. An en-suite bathroom with a bidet and hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, a hire safe and a balcony come as standard in each whilst individually controllable air-conditioning is also available.

This hotel has been built in a typical Madeiran style on the exact site of an ancient sugar cane mill and some of the original features have been preserved to this very day.
