A stay at Bygone Era Bed & Breakfast is to experience affordable luxury with a touch of elegance and a host who knows no bounds! Immerse yourself in a bygone era and be rewarded with superior personalised hosting. Our attention to detail will ensure you'll feel welcome and at home. Situated in North Dunedin and minutes from the city centre on flat terrain (no Dunedin hills!), Bygone Era is close to all amenities and within walking distance of Ross Home & Hospital, Baldwin Street (steepest street in the world), Otago Community Hospice, Botanic Gardens, Knox College and the University of Otago. Off-street parking is available and public transport stops outside the gate. We offer 3 elegant and well appointed private guest rooms packed with Edwardian architectural features and to-die-for luxury beds. Guests regularly compliment the sumptuousness and comfort of our beds and our biggest complaint is they hate getting out of them! Tariffs include a sumptuous cafe style breakfast with a beautifully set table featuring silver service and fine china. The house doubles as an art gallery featuring NZ artists. Often the art creates an interesting topic of discussion amongst guests and there's always something interesting and unusual on offer. Most art is for sale. Breakfast is served from 8:00 am till 9:30 amThis property has provided all content and is solely responsible for its accuracy. | |
