The traditional accommodation is located on the edge of the Hongo Hill, near downtown Ueno with such well-known sightseeing and shopping places including Ueno Park, Yushima Shrine, and Akihabara Electrical Town.
From Narita International Airport, it is easy to access via Keisei Skyliner Train to Ueno Station. Then, take a short taxi ride (six minutes) to the ryokan. By subway, take the Hanzomon Subway Line, change at Okachimachi station to the Chiyoda Subway Line, and get off at Yushima Station. It is about 5-minuites walk from the station.
Established in 1967, the ryokan is a Government Registered Tourist Hotel offering a convenient location, and easy access to public transport and many of Tokyo's tourist attractions. Free public bath is available for 24hours a day.

All rooms are Japanese-style, offering tatami mat flooring. Unlike a typical Ryokan, each guest room has two spaces separated by Japanese sliding doors. The one is living space with low table and floor cushions and the other is a sleeping area with Japanese futons. The rooms also have private bathrooms with cedar bathtubs in each room.
The lobby is small in size with simple design. There are some seating spaces and tatami floor room. There are a few computers for the Internet access at the lobby floor.
There is a Japanese restaurant provides breakfast, lunch and dinner in Japanese traditional decoration.
