 Hida Hanasato-no-yu Takayama Ouan is located 5 minute walking distance from JR Takayama station. Takayama is located almost in the center of Japan and accessible from Nagoya by express train or from Kanazawa by express bus, and Takayama is one of famous sightseeing cities in Japan for not only Japanese people but also people from all over the world. It will be easy to visit lots of sightseeing like Morning Market, Kusakabe Heritage House, Festival Floats Exhibition Hall, Old Private Houses, Takayama Jinya etc. from Hida Hotel Plaza on foot or by taxi.
Takayama Ouan has brought a new fusion of hotel styles to Hida-Takayama, combining the clean, simple rooms of a business hotel with the traditional features and all-natural hot spring baths of an onsen ryokan. The most impressive feature is its rooftop hot spring overlooking the streets of Takayama and the surrounding mountains and you must like it. "Ashiyu" which is a footbath is also available without a fee just at the outside of the entrance. Esthetic salon is open from 15:00 to 24:00 (at 23:00 for the last order) in the hotel and you could have some kinds of massage with/without aroma oil. (There are fees.)
Guest rooms make you feel unique of the combination of Japanese style and European style because there are beds on Japanese tatami mats. Some guest rooms do not have a bathtub but a shower booth and it is recommended to try to natural hot springs on the top of the building to be more relaxed.
