 The agrituristic farm “Borgo Roncone” It's located at just 2 kilometers from the historical center of the medieval town of Viterbo, at 550 m above sea level and immersed in green of the woodland park of “Borgo Roncone”, far from noise and traffic.
Borgo Roncone is an organic family-owned farm. It offers independent apartments complete of services, recently recovered from an old barn, horse riding school, trips in the wood easily accessible by feet or by mountain bike, the thermal baths at just few minutes by car, historical center and shopping at 2 km, “Vico Lake” at 10 minutes by car, historical sites and typical restaurants.
The apartments of the Borgo Roncone, are made from old farm buildings all renovated and furnished in 2008 in a rustic style with wooden ceilings, tile floors in terra cotta. The apartments have an average size of 35sqm. Some with full kitchen, living area others relax. The apartment for the disabled will be available from autumn 2010.
The apartments are equipped with bathrooms with shower, phone, laundry, master bedroom with TV - LCD and living room with sofa bed. Pets are not allowed in the apartments but we will take care of accommodation offered dedicated to them where they will receive all the care necessary for their welfare.
The view that you can enjoy from their windows is: to the west the valley of the southern Maremma, namely 'geographic area around Tuscania, Tarquinia and Montalto di Castro. On a clear day you can see the Monte Argentario, Isle Giannutri The island of Giglio, while north is visible the Monte Amiata and the hills of Lazio. The windows that face south and east provide a view of the Cimini mountains with the rich woods of chestnut and oak trees.
Within a 50 kilometers radius there are sea, mounts, lakes, woods, art and cultural towns, shopping and thermal baths.
