The hotel is placed near the Ca' da Mosto important mansion of the XIIIth century which faces the Canal Grande, between Ca' d'Oro and Rialto Bridge; it has been formerly, from '500 to '700, the seat of the Albergo del Leon Bianco (White Lion Hotel), the most famous in Venice (guest Emperor Joseph II).
Nowadays in the same place, the Locanda Leon Bianco was completely renewed with its wonderful rooms (some of them facing the Canal Grande).
