La Moraia (the blackberries place) is a characteristic farmhouse complex, situated in the heart of Chianti countryside near the village of Talciona, halfway between Siena and Florence. The property is located upon a beautiful hill within a huge natural resort (restocking game reserve for pheasants,hares and wild boars).The family-run farmhouse have always been producing extra vergine olive oil and Chianti wine from the 23 ha. surrounding the property. Since 11 years have also been breeding trotter horses, besides La Moraia offers also the opportunity for our guests to put their horses to board. In 1994 the farmhouses have been completely refurbished and now offer twelve (2-roomed,3-roomed and 4-roomed) apartments.
