Hotel Broadway was built in 1956 as Delhi's first modern, high rise building by Mr. Tirath Ram Amla, a businessman from Kashmir. His vision was to build an affordable clean family hotel and his main management mantra was to ensure that each guest was treated by each staff member as his 'own personal guest'. This has stood the hotel in great stead for over 50 years.
Located in the heart of New Delhi's business district, 5 minutes from downtown Connaught Place and a leader in its market segment, Hotel Broadway is India's first ISO 9002 Hotel.
Built as the Capital's first high rise modern hotel in 1956, the hotel prides itself in being 'a home away from home' for three generations of loyal guests who return to its service and warmth time and time again.
Sandwiched enviably between Colonial New Delhi and the Old City, the front rooms of the hotel overlook the bustling Asaf Ali Road while the others provide a spectacular view of the Old Delhi skyline. Tourists can spend many a delightful hour, watching kite flights, pigeon fights and the hustle-bustle of life in this part of town. In spite of giving the guests a heady whiff of nostalgia, the modern rooms are centrally air-conditioned and equipped with all amenities. The hotel offers facilities for currency exchange and valet parking as well.
Hotel Broadway also offers its guests, rich cultural experience through Old Delhi walks and authentic Kashmiri cuisine served in traditional ?Wazwan? style.
Hotel Broadway is home to some of the country's most celebrated eateries Chor Bizarre - India's Restaurant, which also has a branch in London and Thugs - The Pub not the People. |
