There is excellent public bus service near the hotel, so you can easily head into the city or explore Rathgar and the nearby areas, including the National Maritime Museum and the lovely old town at Dun Laoghaire. Castle Golf Club and the University College Dublin (Belfield Campus) are also close-by. The Abrae Court provides 14 bedrooms with en-suite shower, TV, tea/coffee making facilities and telephone.
