The city centre is a pleasant tree-lined stroll away, along the River Ouse. York is a major tourist attraction and hosts many events throughout the year including, The Viking Festival, The Food and Drink Festival, Continental Market Weekends, and York Race meetings to name but a few. The hotel is also within easy reach of York University, Fulford Golf Course, Fulford Army Barracks, McArthur Glen Designer Shopping Outlet and York Racecourse.
