Situated in the village of Y Felinheli (Port Dinorwic) between Bangor Caernarfon, The Halfway House offers traditional Country Inn Bed and Breakfast Accommodation, and with real ales, fine wines, and superb food on offer, what better base to stay and explore North Wales. Being in a country setting we frequently welcome holiday makers from nearby Anglesey, and of course our own Bed and Breakfast guests who relish the friendly atmosphere. We attract a good mix of ages and are very popular for the food we serve from the main menu which can be enjoyed anywhere in the pub. The local carnival committee organise the annual Gwyl y Felinheli (Felinheli Festival), and also a superb fireworks display at the beginning of November. Both of these events are very popular in the local area, and parts of the village close down to allow the visitors proper access. We are a family friendly hotel that caters for all, with good food ale and wines we have regular customers returning all the time due to the quality of the rooms and the food. The food varies from snacks to fresh al a carte dishes with local fresh produce. All dietary requirements can be catered for and nothing is too much trouble.
