The Corner Guest House is bright and airy and comes highly recommended. With 12 well appointed en suite bedrooms, situated on the ground, first and second floors. The Corner Guest House is an early Victorian built establishment and has always been a guest house, with posters on the wall relating back to Victorian usage, all rooms are en-suite and tastefully decorated, with tea and coffee making facilities and TV's in all rooms as well as a main lounge available for all guests, with a large TV and chess board. Whitby has something for all, including The Captain Cook Memorial Museum, and for the more energetic amongst you there is the long climb up to Whitby Abbey. In the local area there are a host of footpaths across the North York Moors, the Cleveland Way and the coast to coast walk. Why not take a journey on the award winning North York Moors Steam Railway, which runs through the 'Heartbeat' village of Goathland.
