It is a 16th Century Coaching Inn with attractive wooden beams.
The 39 rooms are quite small but very clean and kept in very good condition. The Bathrooms are in good condition. The rooms now provide every modern facility required. There are a number of executive guestrooms available.
The elegant Wealh's Restaurant offers a comprehensive seasonal a la carte menu with many traditional English dishes whilst the more relaxed surroundings of The Bistro provide Morning coffees, light lunches, afternoon teas and dinner in the evenings. Alternatively, the ancient beams, log fire and friendly banter lend a warm and welcoming air to the Tavern Bar, the ever popular "Local" where real ales and good beers accompany a range of traditional hot and cold Pub Meals served all day.
The lobby is large with leather chairs and sofas. There is a long reception desk and plenty of room with groups with luggage. Decorated in a very elegant style.
