Nether Wasdale not only provides an ideal base to explore the high fells but also offers numorous lowland walks. Wasdales many bridleways offer an excellent oppertunity for mountain biking varying from leisurely outings to the most demanding trails The Screes Inn has a large, comfortable bar area with a wood burning stove roaring away during the Autumn and Winter months. We serve a good choice of pub food and real ale and also a large choice of malt whiskies. We currently have five bedrooms, all comfortable with en-suite facilities.
