Crake Trees Manor lies at the centre of our farm. With ancient pastures grazed by young danish red bulls and local sheep fattening for market. Fields of oats and barley with edges of wide conservation strips that sweep down through the farm. A continuous wildlife corridor alive with curlew and peewit, barn owl and pheasant, partridge and snipe. The farm is surrounded by meadow and pasture, over-looking the valleys and fells beyond. The changing seasons offer different moods and experiences to enjoy. At Crake Trees Manor we welcome visitors to our wonderful conversion of a 19th Century Westmorland Field Barn right at the centre of the family farm. All our rooms look out over the farmland to the lovely Eden Valley and The Pennines and Howgill Fells in the distance. Maulds Meaburn village Brew House has recently been converted into a wonderful self-catering cottage. A new venture for 2010 at Crake Trees Manor.
