General Description | |
Bedingfeld Arms, otherwise known as the Bedingfeld Coachouse, is the only pub in the village of Oxborough, which is situated 7 miles between the market towns of Swaffham and Downham Market. We offer bed and breakfast in our newly built accommodation units which were originally a stable block, originating back from when the pub was a Coachouse. We enjoy a prominent position in the heart of this small village and are just a short stroll away from the National Trust property Oxburgh Hall. We are also adjacent to St John the Evangelist church, which is also worth a look around and to see what still remains after the magnificent spire collapsed. We are located nearby to Goodersone Water Gardens, Iceni village and Thetford Forest to name a few. It is an ideal base for touring Norfolk as well as being near Swaffham, otherwise known as Market Shipborough in the TV series Kingdom. We have a nice large car park both outside the pub and also room to park adjacent to the rooms if you wish. All rooms are on the ground floor with a ramp to the disabled room. As well as offering superb short break or holiday accommodation, we also offer excellent rates for contractors working in the area such as British Sugar the local sugar beet factory, RAF Marham, Swaffham, Downham Market and Kings Lynn. | |
