Crawfield Grange was originally built as a barn or steading and converted by the present owners in 1989. Stonehaven is a 5 minute drive away where a large selection of shops, restaurants and the picturesque harbour and old town area can be explored. For those wishing only for a quiet supper, The Lairhillock Inn is only a 3 minute drive away and is an old coaching inn offering comfortable and atmospheric surroundings whilst you enjoy the good food and ale on offer. There are many activities in the area as well as places of historic interest including the world famous Dunnottar castle. This truly is castle country and you will be spoiled for choice as to which ones to visit. If Malt Whisky is your passion, you will find plenty of distilleries to sample.
