After eating a hearty breakfast made with fresh local produce, step outside and you are only minutes away from the 9th Century church and the breathtaking Ruskin's view. John Ruskin once said it is the most beautiful view in England, hence the world. Take a lovely walk by the river Lune and you will see Devils Bridge built in the 12th Century. Go north from Kirkby Lonsdsale and in 25 minutes you will be in the Lake District; go south and in 10 minutes you will be in the Yorkshire Dales; go west and you will be at the coast in 20 minutes. The Blue Pig has two car parking spaces which are for guests to use, and because we have some delightful places to dine you do not have to drive.
