There is a Post Office and a small shop in the village which is a 10 min stroll from the cottage. The Post Office is open until midday and the shop is open to 7.30pm daily. The Forbes Arms, the local pub and restaurant, is situated next to the Post Office on the banks of the River Deveron and offers a extensive menu and a variety of real ales.
