Rose Cottage is a 2-bed detached cottage, dated circa 1800's, situated near Hadrian's Wall and the Pennines in an area of outstanding beauty. On the outskirts of Park Village, a small village approximately 2 miles from Haltwhistle the cottage is on a quiet road to Coanwood, Lambley, and Alston. The cottage is set within 1/3 acre of gardens including a pond and a vegetable garden. 10 minutes' walk along the South Tyne Trail is the local pub The Wallace Arms at Featherstone, serving good food with real ales by cosy fires. The vibrant city of Newcastle and the Abbey town of Hexham lie to the east, Carlisle and the Lake District lie to the west. The stunning Northumbrian coast line, including Holy Island, Alnwick and Bamburgh Castle and the Farne Islands are all within an hour's drive.
