Barley Bree is ideal for the perfect getaway weekend. Enjoy a meal by the wood burning stove in winter or on our sunny terrace in summer. Should you feel inclined, stay over in one of our comfortable rooms and enjoy a truly memorable dinner in the relaxed atmosphere of our old coaching inn. We serve good seasonal food with a great selection of wine. We cannot guarantee availability in the restaurant - please book your table in advance. We have six comfortable rooms which have recently been refurbished to 4 star stndard. In the restaurant, chef /owner, Fabrice Bouteloup at Barley Bree changes the menus frequently in order to reflect the changing seasons. We use as many local suppliers as possible taking advantage of all Perthshire has to offer wild garlic and chanterelles in season, delicious soft fruits through the summer, root vegetables, local lamb beef. Please note the restaurant is closed Mondays and Tuesdays. An evening meal may be provided by prior arrangement - please call us first to check. The shooting season also brings an abundance of game: venison, pheasant, wood pigeon and partridge all feature on our menus at various times of the year. Although our sample menus do not include vegetarian dishes, we can and do provide vegetarian meals. | |
