We have two guest rooms all year round and an additional room for the summer and autumn. The double room is a large room with original mouldings and ornate wardrobe doors and a king-sized bed with room for an additional Z bed if required. The twin room has a cosy feel with a view over the garden. The additional double suite has a king-sized double bed in a large room overlooking the garden and a separate bathroom containing a curved bath with integral shower; the suite is accessed from its own private landing. Facilities in all rooms are similar with hospitality tray, flat screen television, radio/CD player & hair dryer. The en suite shower rooms are newly built with power showers, heated mirrors and complimentary toiletries. WiFi is available. Lonely Planet England gave us a really good review in 2009: "Breakfast is excellent." We still meet that high standard. Breakfast will set you up for the day and has the choice of a full English breakfast, smoked salmon with scrambled eggs, vegetarian options or lighter breakfast according to your preference. Cereals, fruit juice, fruit, tea and coffee are always available. Bread is home-made. Home-made Swiss Bircher Muesli is often available. We are happy to cater for special diets given notice. Light suppers and packed lunches can also be supplied given notice. We are happy to store your equipment and dry wet clothes or boots. Corbridge is worth a visit and also a good base to explore the area.
