Situated in the heart of Cannington, a small village to the west of Bridgwater, the King's Head is a family owned and run village pub. The Kings Head Inn is a 17th-century, former coaching inn, situated in the foothills of the picturesque Quantock Hills, in the centre of the village of Cannington. The interior is in Tudor style and the restaurant is dated 1642. The food is of a high standard and reasonably priced offering a daily lunchtime menu with a carvery. Comfortable en-suite bed and breakfast accommodation is available and there is a beer garden with skittle alley and a function room to suit 75 people. Awarded `Inn of the Year 1999' with Les Routiers for outstanding quality, value and hospitality. Open All DayLunchtime carvery Sunday.
