Take A1250 towards Bishop's Stortford town centre. Turn left at traffic lights to Hatfield Heath (A1060). Down Hall is approximately 6 miles on A1060 Chelmsford road. At Hatfield Heath keep left; turn right into lane opposite Hunters Meet Restaurant and left at the end following sign post. By road from the south, exit Junction 7, M11 (London to Cambridge). Take A414 towards Harlow. At fourth roundabout follow B183 towards Hatfield Heath. After approximately 5 miles road bears right - signposted Down Hall.
