Shepherds Knapp Welcome to our HomeGreg and Nicky would like to welcome you to our family run self catering accommodation, The Shepherds Knapp. We can be found on a quiet country lane just one minute off the main A35.In a beautiful location nestled within the Axe Valley only 5 minutes drive from The Jurassic coastline of Lyme Regis and Charmouth, and only a few minutes away from River Cottage HQ and Canteen, as well as Hix's Oyster Restaurant overlooking the historic Cobb in Lyme Regis, made famous by the film The French Lieutenant's woman. You will have the option of staying either within the main house or in our newly built spacious detached log built lodge, with all facilities you will need for a comfortable stay. All areas have heating to ensure your maximum comfort. The lodge has its own, private parking space for two vehicles for your use. There is a disabled access ramp to our lodge for wheelchairs. The LodgeOur stylish lounge and kitchenettedining area includes all the facilities you would expect for your stay including fridge with integrated freezer compartment, microwave, freeview, TV and DVD player, Wi-Fi, comfortable sofa bed (double). Enjoy stunning panoramic countryside views of the Axe Valley from the lounge windows whilst relaxing in this comfortable private space. We have provided all home comforts to include all kitchen utensils, crockery, mugs, kettle, toaster etc. If you require any baby items such as high chair or portable cot, we are very child friendly and happy to provide where possible. Main Bedroom:You are assured a good night's rest in our comfortable double bed within the main bedroom. All linen is included, and during colder months extra bedding or blankets can be provided, just ask! Within the room you will find a wardrobe and a chest of drawers. Bedroom 2:This room can be used as two single beds or alternatively it can be converted into a double!Bathroom:This modern room includes a walk in shower, all towels provided for the duration of your stay. Private and secluded patio area next to the lodge with a table and chairs also provided for your enjoyment.
