The castle preserved the characteristics of the period in which it was built. Is located in teh Historical Artistic Ensemble of teh city, surronded by the defensive medieval wall, which begins and ends at the Castle of Henry II.It has a magnificent view overlooking the river agueda, the historic town and the beautiful rural scenery extending into the distance.
