Hotel Nouvel is situated in the centre of Barcelona, in a pedestrian street, surrounded by shops, department stores and monuments. Constructed at the end of the XIX century in a modernist style, it has been a hotel since 1917. It was completely renovated in 1992 but unique details were conserved: the coffered ceiling, bronze and crystal lamps, marble floor and colours immortalized by painter Roca-Sastre. The enlargement of 2003 served to equip the hotel with one of the most sophisticated anti-fire systems. All the rooms have private bathroom, central heating, air-conditioning, telephone, satellite TV, hair dryer and a safe. Doors are protected with a card lock, fire detectors and hi-tech sprinklers. The hotel disposes of the charming restaurant “La Lluna” where our buffet breakfast (from 8 till 10:30) is served. For lunch and dinner, our chef, Eduard Vilardell, offers innovative Mediterranean cuisine.
