The hotel is located in the centre of town only two streets from the main predestrainised thoroughfare of Helsingor and within walking distance of the main train station where regular trains to Copenhagen depart and ferry terminals. It is one of only two hotels located in the city centre allowing it to boast prime position in this beautiful Shakespeare inspired port town. The restaurant is located on the ground floor and has been designed to feel like to an English country pub with thick timber beams and uprights, along with solid oak tables and lots of Shakespearean paraphernalia. It is used by guests for breakfast and then guests and the general public for lunch and dinner as it is a highly regarded restautant in the local area. It is a four storey white painted brick building with large windows. The building is typical of Danish town centres from the turn of the 20th Century, however, being located on a corner allows this building to enjoy more unique features such as the entrance overlooking two streets. The lobby is small and cosy with a small seating area to the right and a traditional looking reception desk at the rear. The deceptively spacious room is smartly decorated in a rich green and complimented with ornate picture frames.
