Come to Villa Subklew for a quiet holiday on the island of Rugen. This historic Ostseebad Sellin hotel has a great location within walking distance of the resort’s sandy beaches and Victorian-style pier. Constructed as a resort hotel in 1911, Villa Subklew has been recently renovated, with updated guest rooms and a classic turn-of-the-century facade. Today it’s managed by descendants of the original owners and run as a smoke-free hotel with 29 comfortable guest rooms. It is particularly well known for the fresh, homemade cuisine served in its charming restaurant; in summer, diners can sit out on the hotel’s wind-sheltered terrace. Villa Subklew is located in the coastal village of Ostseebad Sellin (often called simply Sellin), considered one of Rugen’s more peaceful resorts.
