General Description

Bulow Palais Königsstrasse 14Dresden's Baroque quarter has its first genuinely grand hotel. The Bulow Palais is distinctive, special and has a personal touch, and has been over two years in the offing. The bright facade takes its cue from, and hence harmonises effortlessly into, the surrounding area. Royal blue tones set the scene in the generously-proportioned lobby, reflected on silver reception desks. A lively contrast of modern and Baroque architecture automatically draws your gaze as forms and colours remain faithful to style epochs of the past, yet simultaneously reinventing them. No matter where you look, you will find fine furnishings and fabrics in carefully chosen and harmonised colours. Designer furnishings and modern art go hand-in-hand, effortlessly creating delightful rooms that will remain long in the memory. Enjoy breakfast in the winter garden, light German cuisine in the Palais Bistro, or meet good friends in the Cigar Lounge, the bar or the Michelin starred Caroussel gourmet restaurant. Enjoy five-star comfort and luxury no matter where you go, whether in the divinely comfortable new rooms and suites, or in the Day Spa leisure are with views over Dresden. Welcome to the new Bulow Palais in the heart of Dresden's Baroque quarter!.

Arriving at the Bulow Palais: If taking the A4 autobahn from Bautzen or Berlin (presumably via the A13) then we recommend leaving the autobahn at the Dresden-Hellerau exit. If coming the other way on the A4 via Chemnitz or Eisenach, then Dresden-Wilder Mann is the better junction. Arriving from Dresden-Hellerau: Take the Hansastrae and follow the signs to the city centre (Stadtzentrum). At Dresden-Neustadt railway station you will reach a bridge. Continue through the traffic lights and under this bridge into Hainstrae where you need to go into the left-hand lane. After around 200 metres (but before the next set of traffic lights) take the second road on the left after the railway station and turn right onto Palaisplatz before taking the first right into Konigstrae. The Bulow Palais is on the right after the second crossroads, and the entrance to the garage is at the rear of the hotel. If arriving from Dresden-Neustadt, follow the signs to Pieschen MIckten, NOT the city centre. Continue along Lommatzscher Strae, which becomes Leipziger Strae. Stay in the right-hand lane of Leipziger Strae and keep going straight on until you reach a railway bridge with a set of traffic lights. Continue through this then turn left at the second set of lights then straight right into Palaisplatz before taking the first right into Konigstrae. The Bulow Palais is on the right after the second crossroads, and the entrance to the garage is at the rear of the hotel. Arriving from Dresden AIrport: Turn left into Karl-Marx-Strae at the first major crossroads and follow the signs to the city centre. This automatically becomes Konigsbrucker Strae. Follow the railway lines and stay right for a good ten minutes before you get to the major junction at Albertplatz. Go straight through Albertplatz and into the right-hand lane, then take the third right into Konigstrae (last road before the pedestrian precinct). The Bulow Palais is on the left after the second crossroads, and the entrance to the garage is at the rear of the hotel.
