Our hotel in Berlin is often called a "gallery where you can spend the night"-in one of the city's most exciting neighborhoods. The hotel is situated in Berlin-Mitte, within view of the Reichstag building and the Spree River, a few minutes walk from Unter den Linden, the Brandenburg Gate, Friedrichstraße, and the main train station. This is a historical area with top-flight architecture that has recently been attracting attention. This is where the most important currents in politics, culture, media, and science meet. Comprising a neo-classical residential palais dating from 1825 and an addition built in 2003, the hotel has a total of 50 rooms, a generous lobby, and an art gallery that also serves as a venue for events. Our single rooms, double rooms, and suites are not only comfortable, but in the "bel-etage" of the old building the rooms are truly lavish-equipped with a shower or bathtub, free wireless Internet, and, in the new building, even air-conditioning. In the tradition of the "Kunstlerheim" we additionally offer a few simple single and double rooms in the mansard with shower and wc in the hallway. All rooms in the hotel have been individually decorated by a renowned artist, whose concept incorporates the entire room.
