General Description | |
A good and cheap hotel in Prague is not difficult to find if you don’t mind staying outside the city centre. Take the Vitkov Hotel for example. It’s located in the Zizkov district, at the foot of Vitkov Hill where the National Memorial is. The Old Town is just 15 minutes away by tram, which stops near the hotel. Also a short tram ride away is the ancient Olsany Cemetery where the writer Franz Kafka and composer Jaroslav Jezek are buried. Vitkov Hotel offers bedrooms that are mostly spacious; they’re also clean, modern and well equipped. You’ll find facilities like writing desks, satellite TVs, safes and bathrooms with either a tub or shower and hairdryer. A plentiful buffet breakfast is served each day and the hotel restaurant is also opened for lunch and dinner, serving international cuisine. If you prefer to eat elsewhere, there’s a restaurant and a local bar across the road, while a pizza place can be found just around the corner. | |
