Located downtown Canela amidst almost absolute silence, Pousada Cravo & Canela has residence characteristics. Adapted to the European tourism concept, this mansion, a fine example of architecture in the Bavarian Style, very famous at the region, was built in the 1950s and belonged to the former Rio Grande do Sul's Governor Ildo Meneghetti's Family, also owner of a paper and cellulose factory in Canela.
