A self rated 3 & 1/2 star luxury Safari Lodge with ensuite facilities, the Jabiru Safari Lodge is sited on picturesque Clancy"s Lagoon within the 2000 ha Mareeba Tropical Savanna and Wetland Reserve. It is located an hour west of Cairns on the northern edge of the Cairns Highlands/ Atherton Tablelands, and provides a sanctuary for outback wildlife, including a number of Australia’s rarest bird species. The African-style tented safari cabins have ensuites with flushing toilets. Each safari cabin has a double and single bed, fridge, kettle & toater and decking with tables and chairs.
