General Description | |
Tin Dragon Trail Cottages are fully self contained cottages newly built on the banks of the Ringarooma River in North East Tasmania. Here you will discover genuine country hospitality laced with North East Tasmania's rich natural and cultural heritage. The Ringarooma River is favoured by fly fishermen. We have 36 Ac nestled in the heart of country Tasmania, close to the east coast and northern beaches (and sensational golf courses). Snuggle by the fire, sleep under an alpaca wool-filled doona then enjoy a hearty breakfast of farm eggs and other local produce. Catch a wild trout! Your only intrusion will be the occasional inquisitive wallaby foraging near by or the soaring eagles above. The cottages are named after the Chinese miners who worked in the region's tin mines over a century ago and are constructed from timber & stone sourced from our property. All aspects of creating Tin Dragon Trail Cottages have adopted principles of ecological sustainability with the objectives of providing a luxurious country retreat. Guests are welcome to share the produce from our organic vegetable garden, fruit orchard and hens. | |
