Collingrove Homestead (c1856) was conceived as a little piece of England and is set amongst the great gums of the Barossa Valley The building is the historical home of the town of Angaston’s namesake, the Angas family. Thus far it has been maintained as a museum displaying artifacts from The Angas Family home and the South Australian history they helped create. Marci and Andrew Frost with Marci’s brother Zach Riemersma (Head Chef) have transformed the impressive heritage-listed home into a high-end, boutique bed-and-breakfast and restaurant experience. Since leasing the building from the National Trust, the Frosts have transformed the homestead’s accommodation from a quaint cottage to a sophisticated, relaxed space with luxury facilities for a full weekend’s stay. Guest accommodation is individually styled. All rooms are furnished with French Provincial hand carved beds, fresh white linen and French Style Toile quilts.
