Mount Bundy Station is an idyllic retreat for those who enjoy the serenity of the Australian bush. The accommodation is privateand secluded, with huge expanses of shaded riverside lawns. There are buffalo, Brahman cattle, wallabies, lots of other fascinating wildlife, and great birdwatching. Guests can enjoy swimming, interesting bush walks, WWII history, and there is a wonderland of opportunities awaiting the camera. For a bit of relaxing fishing, try dropping a line in the river. On the bush golf course a sense of fun and house rules apply. A range of accommodation is available for groups of up to 50 (tent accommodation can be organised for larger numbers). There is also a conference room, seating 40, and a good-sized swimming pool. Everything can be provided, or guests can self-cater, and BYO drinks. The Station is 3km from Adelaide River Township, midway between Darwin and Pine Creek. Located just over an hour south of Darwin, Adelaide River is ideally located for those visiting Litchfield National Park before heading down the Stuart Highway to Kakadu National Park and Katherine. The Adelaide River with its famous Barramundi fishing is only 500 metres from the homestead... an angler's dream come true. | |
